Job summary
Assistant manager required for a Gastro Restaurant within driving distance of Kendal & looking to push the standards further. This is a 4 day week role, covering lunch and dinners on your 4 days. It is 4 out of 7 days. £30-32k, live in is a option for this role. This is the 3rd person in charge, they have a General Manager, a Deputy GM and this role.The role
As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of your shift, you will work with the GM and Deputy GM to ensure your shift runs smoothly. There will be some bar responsibilities as well as food focused. This role will take duties on, which will be varied and some will involve some of the drink side of the operation. This role will include all the normal Assistant Restaurant Manager duties you would expect in a Assistant Manager role.
Experience
We are looking for a candidate with good food knowledge and some drinks/bar knowledge. You will be a peoples person and fine with a front facing role. You will be good communicator, good knowledge and passion.
