Job summary
Do you have experience working in a wet chemistry laboratory? Are you looking for a new challenge where you can grow and develop with an innovative company?Our client is a unique and well-established company who specialise on development of products to serve a wide range of industry which has included rail, security and engineering companies. They are a longstanding company who have worked closely with their customers to provide top-class speciality products which cater to their requirements. Due to growth of the business, they are now looking to recruit a Project Technologist to join their friendly and hardworking team.
Responsibilities will include a variety of laboratory tasks such as analytical testing, sample preparation, formulating products and often tasks relating to quality control. There will also be more administrative focused tasks such as upkeep of documentation, report writing and quality control work. You will work as part of a team, reporting into the Senior Project Technologist and be responsible for understanding customer requirements and offer solutions through product delivery of specialist polymers and chemicals.
To be considered for the role you will hold a degree in Chemistry or a related discipline and have experience working within a laboratory environment ideally within wet chemistry. Experience of product formulation and expertise in polymers would be highly beneficial. You should have a good eye for details and be highly organised. Furthermore, you should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
