If so, we want to hear from you!Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced and dedicated Teacher to work in one of our Primary Schools in Newcastle on a full-time and long-term basis to start in January. There are roles and opportunities available across the school from EYFS - KS2, so regardless of your specialism or preference, we would love to hear form you!
The hours of work will be 08.30-16.00 and the role will initially be full-time until the end of the Academic Year in July. For the right candidate, there is the strong possibility that the role will become permanent. Both ECT's and experienced Teachers are welcome to apply.
The role will involve planning and delivering lessons with the support of Teaching Assistants within lessons. The role will be based with a mixed ability class so a key part of the role will be to differentiate learning activities appropriately to ensure all pupils make excellent progress and are taught in a way that is suited to their individual needs and learning styles. You will also be required to implement different methods of assessment to monitor and assess the progress of pupils.

This role will involve:
Planning and teaching engaging and informative lessons pupils that inspires Year 6 pupils and allows them all to make progress.
Building positive relationships with pupils and Teaching Assistants to create excellent learning environments.
Managing challenging behaviour in a positive, proactive and consistent manner.
Assessing and monitoring the progress of pupils.
Differentiating lessons appropriately to suit the needs and earning styles of all pupils.
Displaying high levels of enthusiasm, energy and positivity when working with children.
Working effectively with Teaching Assistants to ensure children receive the best possible educational experience.
This role requires:
An Enhanced DBS (ideally on the Update Service but this is not essential as we can process a new one for you)
QTS
Strong subject knowledge
A positive and resilient attitude towards Teaching and work
Experience of Teaching within the UK
A genuine passion for Teaching young people to fulfil their potential and flourish in education.
Strong organisation and communication skills
