Electrical Contracts ManagerElectromec Ltd, has been operating successfully for over 20 years and is a leading provider of Electrical contracting services and control panel manufacturing in North Wales, Northwest of England and throughout the UK.
Our clients include manufacturing & chemical manufacturing to include Top Tier COMAH, Food, Utilities, Civil Nuclear and Public sector organisations.
Electromec Ltd are looking for candidates who are highly organised, efficient, calm under pressure and client-focussed, with excellent communication skills.
Ideally, candidates will have experience in management of electrical projects and electricians.
Candidates will be fully qualified with valid 2360 Part 1 & 2, or 2330 Level 2 & 3, 2382-18 18th Edition and 2391 Inspection & testing qualifications.
The successful candidate will act as an internal and client facing works coordinator, working alongside the existing Contracts managers, scheduling teams, and managing the day-to-day activities of the engineering workforce.
Position Overview
The contracts Manager will be primarily based in the office, with site visits required for client meetings, technical site surveys, estimation activities and engineering audits.
Duties will consist of organising the Engineering workforce, allocating labour to contracted works, negotiating supplier rates, creating schedules of works for larger projects, dealing with client requests, technical queries and quoting installation works.
Where required, onsite duties will consist of providing support on site, taking responsibility for efficiency and quality, ensuring we offer the best quality service to our clients.
The role also comprises Health & safety responsibilities and on-site audits.
Location
We are looking for people based in the Wrexham area, Ellesmere Port Liverpool, and the Manchester area.
Candidate Requirements

Must have the relevant industry technical qualifications, 18th edition wiring regulations with at least City & Guilds 2382 & 2391 (or equivalent).

Be suitably experienced around Inspection & testing requirements, Electrical installation condition reports and other NICEIC accredited certification.

Self-motivated, enthusiastic, dedicated, and reliable.
*
Excellent people management skills.
*
Must be prepared to travel to sites and work away when required.
*
It is essential that you can work under pressure and to short deadlines.
*
Excellent stable background throughout career.
*
Computer literate.
*
Full UK driving licence.
*
SMSTS qualification would be an advantage, but not essential.
*
NICEIC qualified supervisor would be an advantage, but not essential.
