Job summary

Ultra PCS are looking for a Systems Automation Developer. You will be acting as the technical lead to work on the Automation Projects and collaborating with several internal teams. You will be responsible for a subset of key tasks (outlined under Role Responsibilities) including reporting on your progress to the Head of IT effectively.

You will need to have in depth knowledge of Rest API as 3rd party system integrations will be one of your main tasks. Speed and accuracy of delivery is extremely important to ensure Project milestones are reached. Any risks identified and solutions/workarounds offered.

Key Responsibilities:

* Very strong coding skills, ASP.net, C#

* Extensive working knowledge in API usage, patterns, best practises, and gateways.

* The ability to work with the Microsoft Azure Platform, adopting a trial & error approach to new automation or improving existing automation.

* Good experience of working with Azure Apps.

* Knowledge of information security, such as authentication methods, principle of least privilege, and access management.

* An understanding of Azure and the various services on offer (in particular Azure AD, Log Analytics, Azure Automation).

* Formulating and designing process flow maps e.g., Microsoft Visio to represent end to end processes.

* Experience of Service Design, working with business owners and technical teams to define operational requirements.

* Proven experience of working with supplier management.

* Work closely with data analysts, data-source system developers, and end-users, to ensure solutions created meet business requirements and are delivered in a timely manner.

* Ensure development of database architecture, and data pipelines, are documented in line with PCS policies.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

* A passion for exploring the art of the possible, testing and trialling new ways of working or systems.

* An ability to build rapport with suppliers and developers is preferred.

* An ability to work independently, with a motivated and timely approach to researching and development.

* Mentoring skills.

* Track record of strong business customer and key stakeholder management.

* Excellent analytical and reporting skills with proven ability to make significant financial savings to the business.

* Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload when required and working on Projects.

* Highly articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Enjoys working at speed, when necessary, but also able to plan and consider options.
