Job summary
Proactive are currently recruiting for a number of production/machine operators to work for a manufacturing company based in Milton KeynesYour daily duties will include:
* Operating automatic or semi-automatic machinery safely
* Ensuring production areas are clean and free from obstacles
* Running quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet company standards and flagging below-standard items
* Ensuring raw material is fed into processing machines safely, including quality checking raw materials
* Maintaining machines, and ensuring they run smoothly
* As the manual world becomes more digital, you may be required to operate some basic software
To be considered for this role you will need the following skills/experience:
* Previous production/manufacturing experience
* Ideally have worked with machinery previously
* Good working within a team and on your own initiative
* Good attention to detail in order to understand and correctly follow processes
* Good communication skills
The ideal candidate will:
* Have good time keeping skills
* Posses a positive attitude and willingness to learn
* Be professional and approachable
More about the role:
* Hours Rotating shifts: Monday to Friday 6.00am-2.00pm, 2.00pm-10.00pm Alternating weekly.
* Start date: ASAP following interview process
* Rate - up to £13.50 per hour
* Duration: Full-Time ongoing assignment with view to permanent contract
