Job summary
Forensic Social WorkerOxford Health are looking to expand their current team. The Forensic team is looking for a Social Worker to join a well-structured and organised team. This Forensic Social Worker role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.
Forensic Social Worker Responsibilities Include:
To carry out the role of Care Co-ordinator to an allocated number of service users and take responsibility for ensuring that individual care is assessed, planned, and reviewed as part of the Care Programme Approach.
To provide a social care service to an allocated number of service users and their carers who are accepted by the Forensic service.
To initiate and maintain good links with local authorities of the area of origin of Extra Contractual Referral patients (ECR) within the service.
To have direct contact with service users via casework and input to a clinical treatment programme. This will include undertaking social circumstances report, Mental Health review Tribunal reports, Managers Hearing report and section 117 Aftercare responsibilities.
To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team contributing to needs and risk assessments and planning of care and risk management as part of the Care Programme Approach.
Requirements / Experience preferred:
Post qualifying experience of working as a Forensic Social Worker within the UK Social Care industry.
HCPC Registration
1-2 years post qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry
Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
