Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on young children's lives? We are currently seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Assistant to join our team at our Preston-based educational institution.
Job Responsibilities:
As an EYFS Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
Supporting Early Childhood Development: Assist in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years to promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Supervising and Engaging: Supervise children during playtime and learning activities, ensuring their safety, and engaging them in educational and enjoyable experiences.
Assisting Teachers/Practitioners: Collaborate with the EYFS teachers and practitioners to implement lesson plans, provide one-on-one support, and offer assistance with classroom activities.
Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of children's progress and report any concerns to the lead teacher or supervisor.
Ensuring Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in working with young children.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and colleagues.
The ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum is a plus, but not essential.Working Hours:
This is a part-time position, and the working hours are flexible within the range of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The specific hours can be discussed during the interview.
