If you have a formula for helping all learners to have the best opportunities in life, this is the perfect role for you.One of our SEN schools in the Channel Islands is looking for an outstanding SEMH Science Teacher to join a dedicated team who are committed to breaking down SEMH barriers to learning. This fantastic school caters for children aged 9 to 16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, providing them with a positive, safe, vibrant community.
In this exciting full-time supply role, you can combine beautiful surroundings with a rewarding challenge, as you promote learning through well-planned Science lessons that can be adapted to meet individual needs. If you have experience working in an SEMH school, with strong behavioural management skills and a patient approach, this could be the perfect position for you.
This is initially a supply contract until the end of the Spring term.
You will need:
QTS
The right to work in the UK
Ideally a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
Experience teaching in a SEMH school
Very strong classroom and behavioural management skills
Ideally be available to start asap.
In return you will receive:
