We have a unique opportunity to become an Investigation Officer within NCHAs HR team. As an Investigation Officer, you will be conducting investigations in relation to a range of complex employee relations matters, ensuring they are completed in a timely way, in line with our values, policies and relevant procedures/guidance.
About the Role
As an Investigation Officer, you will work alongside HR colleagues and NCHA managers to complete investigations. You will be expected to write clear, concise reports for decision makers to review, identifying lessons learned which can be incorporated into policy, practice and training where required.
About you
To be successful in this role you will:
* Be experienced in conducting and writing and presenting investigation findings
* Be naturally curious with great verbal and written communication skills
* Be analytical with good judgement and excellent attention to detail
* Be able to relate to people when they are in difficult circumstances
* Have effective knowledge of employment law, and practical use of the legal framework in the working environment
* Work flexibly and autonomously across the East Midlands, this is not a standard working week role.
Working Hours
This role is offered on an annualised hours contract basis, hours will vary according to the business need, if averaged it equates to 17 hours per week. You must be able to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings on occasion.
