THE BUSINESS
Our client is a global business with over 70 years experience in their industry. They are the nations leading and award-winning packaging design business. THE ROLE
The position is a Fork Lift Truck driver with Yard Charge Hand duties. The business is looking for an experienced candidate with a minimum of 12 months experience driving combi-truck and counterbalance fork lift trucks. Some of your duties will include:
You will co-ordinate start-ups and shutdowns in line with line leaders
You will ensure daily scheduled work is completed on time and report daily updates
You will perform quality checks and take part in monthly/annual stock takes
You will recognise and implement improvements within processes and solve problems in your area
You will ensure all staff wear appropriate PPE at all times and ensure a clean work area
You will ensure regular communication with line managers and planning team co-ordinating and involving with any necessary disciplinary/corrective actions

You will be a leader demonstrating the attributes mentioned above
Your leadership skills will help drive the business for future success
You will need a valid Combi-truck and Counterbalance FLT Licence to do this role
Minimum 1-year recent FLT experience
You have experience of operating an FLT within a warehouse environment
As a result, you will need to be keen to learn and adapt to taking on new tasks and developing new skills
You will display a strong work ethic and a mature approach carrying out your duties
