About the Role:
As a Senior Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in our organization, with responsibilities that include:
* Reviewing underwriters' cases for specialized property loans before finalization.
* Conducting risk analysis and evaluating the suitability of borrowers for various loan proposals.
* Explaining and documenting decisions made during credit reviews.
* Providing sign-off for cases with a net value of up to £1 million, with the possibility of contributing to cases up to £10 million net.
* Conducting on-site visits to assess securities and review progress on construction projects.
* Reporting the findings of site visits to the credit department.
* Assessing and monitoring multi-million-pound construction projects.
* Facilitating drawdowns and releasing funds to advance work on these projects.
* Utilizing our in-house CRM and workflow system to manage relationships and track deal progress.
* Assisting in annual audit reviews.
* Maintaining communication with borrowers to monitor progress on exit plans.
* Managing recovery processes.
* Verifying and providing redemption statements and approving the release of security.
