A Mechanical Design Engineer to join our exclusive global manufacturing client based in Hampshire due to succession planning. Apply now!This senior level mechanical design engineer role would suit a degree or HNC/HND or degree qualified mechanical or electromechanical R&D professional with good CAD experience (ideally SOLDWORKS or similar) and hands on experience of machinery design, special purpose machine design, process machine desing within the factory industrial manufacturing production industry.
My exclusive client specialises in process machinery and the refurbishment and modernisation of installed based machinery using the latest technology. They have a growing and diverse product range of market leading machinery and they improve existing process machinery designs to develop further. You will be working on designated projects, producing detail designs for the companys machines and development of machine design complying with the relevant international and UK company standards to design specification. The ideal Mechanical Design Engineer candidate will have the below skills and experiences;
* Experience of machinery design, special purpose machine design within an industrial, manufacturing, production engineering, factory, process machinery, production factory industry or similar
* HND/ HNC engineering / Mechanical Design/ Electro mechanical engineering degree qualifications or equivalent (B.eng, M.eng etc).
* Good practical experience of CAD (SOLIDWORKS advantageous but AUTOCAD other CAD packages are suitable)
* Awareness of machinery safety standards and process machinery applications
* Full UK driving licence and passport as there will be occasional travel to European and international offices
* Experience knowledge of thermal, steam, gas thermal oxidiser, burner process etc would be advantageous
* Any CNC experience (desirable)
