Job summary
Are you a skilled Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on individual's lives? We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work collaboratively with diverse populations to enhance independence and improve the quality of life.Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop personalised intervention plans.
Intervention and Rehabilitation: Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to enhance client's functional abilities and promote independence in daily activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, physiotherapists, and social workers, to coordinate holistic care plans for clients.
Client Education: Provide education to clients and their families on adaptive strategies, equipment, and community resources to support ongoing independence.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and client progress, ensuring compliance with professional and organisational standards.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
HCPC Registration
Previous experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a health care or rehabilitation setting.Skills and Abilities:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
Empathy and a client-centred approach to care.
Knowledge of current occupational therapy practices and techniques.Benefits:
