Location: North London, South London, Kent, UK
Working Hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, door to door
On-Call Rota: One night every 8 days, with 3-4 engineers on call each night to ensure you're not alone during on-call duties.
Job Description:
Are you a skilled and reliable Door Entry Reactive Service Call Engineer seeking a challenging role in North London, South London, or Kent?

If so, we are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and play a crucial role in servicing and maintaining door entry systems. This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from £32,000 to
£35,000, with additional overtime and benefits.
Responsibilities:
As a Door Entry Reactive Service Call Engineer, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, investigating faults on-site, and rectifying issues during the first visit whenever possible. Your role is vital in ensuring the functionality and security of various door entry systems. You will work with a range of systems, including Videx, KMS, Entrotec, and Tynetec, and must have the expertise to work with any possible system configuration.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Responding to service calls promptly and professionally.
2. Investigating and rectifying faults on-site, with the ability to work on various door entry systems.
3. Communicating effectively with the office to advise on required repairs when on-site fixes are not possible.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To excel in this role, we are seeking candidates who meet the following criteria:
1. Training or experience with Videx and KMS systems.
2. A list of specific training courses or certifications related to Videx and KMS systems.
3. Competency in fault-finding for cable issues and equipment failures.
4. A willingness to work as part of a team and share information through a WhatsApp group chat, fostering knowledge-sharing among engineers.
5. Knowledge of different types of handsets available on intercom systems for job reporting.
6. The ability to install various types of locks and door hardware when attending doors with faulty equipment.
Salary and Benefits
Basic Salary - £33,000 to £35,000
Core hours 0730 to 1600hrs Door to Door!
Overtime - paid at 1.5x pay on all hours outside basic and 2x salary for Sundays. (when required)

Door to Door pay - All engineers get paid from when they get in the van until they get home each evening.
we dont dock you a commute time. Every hour you are in the van for work is paid.
All tools provided We provide you with all the tools you need to do the job effectively. The vans are all kitted out ready for you to hit the ground running.
Have your Birthday off on us! - All staff members get their birthday off in addition to their annual leave!
