Job summary
THE COMPANY:Nicholas Associates are delighted to be recruiting for an Electronics Project Engineer. You will be responsible for the successful management of medium to large projects ensuring that all quality and regulatory standards are maintained working as part of a multi-disciplinary team liaising with internal and external customers.
THE JOB:
Deliver projects to time & budget by allocating and managing appropriate resource, through understanding customer requirements and business capability.
Act as a champion & focal point for internal and external process and legislative compliance.
Act as a champion & focal point for the use of the companies ERP (Visual) system.
Lead projects of all sizes through the design process.
Work with the Product Compliance Engineer to create RAMS and maintain local work instructions (LWI) & standard operating procedures (SoP) relevant to the management of projects.
Act in a consulting role to other areas of the business to provide ad-hoc support to the wider company.
Involvement in all stages of the design process from concept design to handover is expected to span multiple projects
Lead and participate in design reviews.
Support groups and functions for the companys North America & UK operations, including Product Management, Technical Solutions, Rail Control Panels, Display Solutions and After Sales Service & Support.
Work within & contribute to the improvement of quality management system (ISO 9001:2015).
THE PERSON:
Remote condition monitoring experience.
Knowledge of UKCA, CE, SIL requirements.
Use of ERP management systems.
Degree in Engineering Management, an Engineering discipline, or similar.
2-3 years engineering experience.
Experience with managing projects within the Engineering discipline or similar.
