About Our Client:
They are a Hertfordshire based, growing Main Contractor who deliver a variety of projects from new build housing, sports facilities to schools, this company can deliver pretty much anything required. They are looking to break the £30m turnover bracket in the next twelve months through building on the partnerships/relationships they have and building new ones.
The Role:
A Bid Writer is required to join a growing pre-construction team. With the recent appointment of a Preconstruction Director, this business are preparing to take the next steps in their growth. You will undertake an all-encompassing role that covers everything from managing SQs, PQQs, and tenders from YES BID to submission. You will have creative licence to design the bid documents how you see fit. You will typically be in the office 2 days per week.
This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person as you will be working for a very knowledgeable Preconstruction Director who will give you time and energy, allowing you to learn and progress. You will also have the autonomy to undertake as much as you desire as he will allow you free reign, so as to not hold back your development. You can easily quickly progress in this role if you are the right person.
The Applicant:
The ideal candidate must have:
* Minimum 5-year construction experience with minimum of 3 yrs. construction bid writing.
* Skilled and competent with InDesign, Adobe Suite, Microsoft suite
* Excellent knowledge of the tender process.
* Confidence and proficient in reviewing tender ITT and summarising the project description and tender requirements.
