Job summary

We are currently working with a specialist of over 40 years' expertise in providing installation, maintenance and commissioning services to the Fire & Security industry, based on the South Coast. They are currently in the market to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer, working in both commercial and domestic properties mainly in the Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire regions.

The role of the Fire & Security Service Engineer will involve;

* Installing and commissioning Fire Alarm systems, Emergency Lighting, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm Systems as well as other bespoke systems mainly in commercial premises.

* Covering a geographical area incorporating Dorset, Wiltshire and Hampshire regions.

* Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately, and keeping the cleanliness of the van to a good standard.

The position offers the following benefits;

* A basic salary of up to £37,000pa depending on experience.

* Paid travel after first 30-minute commute.

* Working hours of 08:30am to 05:00pm, any overtime outside these hours paid at enhanced rates.

* Sick pay after probation period.

* Mobile phone, tablet and all uniform.

To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you are required to have;

* Previous experience in fire alarm and security product installation and comissioning.

* Strong computer/tablet literacy.

* Experience of implementing the working standards and current legislation in day to day work.

* Able to work on own initiative.

* A full UK Driving License.
