Job summary

This Operations Improvement Lead role is working on a site investing millions into expansion and upgrades across the operation. Additional benefits include an annual bonus up to 10%, hybrid working, 10% employer contribution to pension, private health care, life assurance, 28 days holiday plus stats and more.

Taking this opportunity as Operations Improvement Lead would mean working for a leading global producer of chemical products. This is a key manufacturing company relied on by many industries and this Operations Improvement Lead role is critical to the ongoing operation.

Responsibilities of the Operations Improvement Lead;

Overseeing CI initiatives to drive ops excellence.
Primary focus will be on ops efficiency and driving OEE.
Create and lead teams based on ops improvement.
Identification, development of strategy and implementation of CI initiatives across site.
Developing the UK standard for CI initiatives and progressing the scope to include region (Europe).To be successful in this position as Operations Improvement Lead, an established technical background with experience working within process manufacturing is desired (Chemical, Petrochemical, FMCG, Food, Automotive etc) with experience of Process Stream / Value Stream Mapping. The minimum educational requirement for this role is an Engineering or Scientific (Chem Eng, Process Eng, Mech Eng, Chemistry etc) degree or equivalent.

In addition to the salary, the Operations Improvement Lead will be entitled to a market leading benefits package. Scope for growth within this role is huge, as the programme is successfully implemented across the UK site, there is then the opportunity to grow into a regional role covering Europe.
