Job summary

My client is a reputable Civils Copntractor who are getting progressively busy and therefore are needing an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their established team! You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain valuable experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
* Develop and execute project plans, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
* Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion.
Team Leadership:
* Lead and motivate project teams, ensuring collaboration and effective communication.
* Manage and coordinate the efforts of architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
Budget and Resource Management:
* Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial goals are met.
* Allocate and optimize resources to achieve project objectives.
Quality Control:
* Implement and maintain quality control processes to meet industry standards and client expectations.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications.
Client Relations:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
* Address client concerns promptly and maintain positive client relationships.
Risk Management:
* Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager.
* Extensive Marine or Civils experience
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Proficiency in project management software and tools
