Are you a Senior level engineer who is keen to embrace a new and exciting challenge?Our client is a thriving multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy that is committed to engineering technical excellence, delivering a broad range of specialist consultancy services in Civils, Infrastructure, Rail, Marine and Structural fields across the South East of England.
As part of their continued growth, they are opening a new office in Norwich and are currently looking to recruit a Principal / Associate Structural Engineer to join the Associate Director in this exciting plan to expand their existing presence in Norwich. This role is suited for candidates with both established experience but also motivation and ambition as the successful candidate will be someone who will welcome and fully embrace this exciting opportunity to play a leading role in establishing and developing a new team.
Projects: commercial, health, industrial, leisure, rail and residential.
Responsibilities:
Leading and carrying out design work in all materials,
Project management,
Offering leadership, supervision and training to more junior staff members,
Site inspections,
Contributing to company development,
Marketing.Requirements:
A degree in civil of structural engineering,
A technically excellent engineer, with established skills and delivery capability,
Ability to lead from the front and be able to work with and mobilise a wide range of personalities,
Capable of managing projects,
Ability to listen and communicate with client and technical teams and adjust/interpret the message as appropriate,
Able to manage client relationships for extended and repeat business opportunities,
Ability & desire to contribute to company development,
Experience in leading and managing a team. The successful Principal / Associate Structural Engineer will be rewarded with a competitive salary, generous benefits package and a varied, challenging role. Travel to and from Ipswich will also be required approximately twice a week.
