Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit an energetic CACHE Level 3 Teaching assistant to work in a Welsh Medium Primary school in the Caerphilly area. The role would require the successful candidate to work within the mainstream Foundation Phase setting, in their Nursery Class.
The successful candidate should have experience and knowledge of the Foundation Phase curriculum. The school would welcome a flexible person with a positive attitude towards developing and nurturing the insightful minds of their learners. The successful candidate should ensure that they develop into caring and kind individuals within a safe and Welsh environment. The ability to speak welsh is essential for this post.
Essential for this role
CACHE Level 3 qualification or higher
The ability to converse through the medium of welsh
Prior experience working with children
Child Workforce DBS on the update service
Registered with the Education Workforce Council
Teaching Personnel are able to support you through the vetting process in relation to the DBS application and Education Workforce Council if you are not currently registered.
The school
The school is situated in Caerphilly County Borough Council. There are 217 pupils between three and eleven years old on roll, including 30 part-time nursery age pupils. They are divided into eight classes, including two mixed-age classes. A few of the pupils speak Welsh at home and very few are from ethnic minority backgrounds

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
