Quality TechnicianHoniton
£25-£32,000 DOE
Monday-Friday - 8am - 4.30pm
Acorn by Synergie is looking for an experienced Quality Technician to join their clients fast-paced organisation in Honiton. In this role, you will be responsible for providing active support to ensure that our quality assurance goals and objectives are being met, including carrying out internal audit activities, tests and reviews. You'll also be expected to assist the Operations Manager with all quality assurance and systems (QAS) work.
Your primary duties will involve determining and delivering high standards of quality across the organisation in order to meet all internal and customer specifications. Working with the team you will be expected to ensure all quality testing, auditing and inspection activities are carried out correctly, and update all policies and procedures as necessary.
You'll also be responsible for liaising with the relevant personnel regarding quality issues, and will collaborate with other departments to ensure that quality requirements an specifications are met. Monitoring the performance of the department's quality systems will also be required, as will providing accurate cleaning and maintenance for all associated equipment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Relevant experience in a quality assurance, testing or auditing role
* Excellent communication and organisation skills
* An attention to detail and an ability to keep track and analyse data
* Knowledge and understanding of quality management systems and tools
* Keen eye for detail
* Ability to work quickly and accurately
* Demonstrable experience with working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
