Job summary
Calibre Search have a new role available for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for their next challenge based out near Stockport.Very much a role which can offer you full career development and job satisfaction, this position is with a thriving and growing Independent Consultancy who have been operating and building themselves up in the North West market offering a multitude of services in project management, quantity surveying, CDM advisory and Employers Agent work on mixed range of construction projects.
You will be partnering and assisting the Directors on numerous tasks which in return qill aid you in your progression through your APC to become MRICS Chartered. This particular role will see you oversee several housing developments they have ongoing which all have their own unique challenges and requirements making this a very varied role.
Ideally, they're keen to speak with Quantity Surveyors who already have some post degree experience who have been exposed to offering any format of doing cost planning/reporting or Employers Agent services within a similar consultancy outfit but will consider QS's from other sector backgrounds.

Duties/Responsibilities
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and cohesively as part of a team
The ability to deal/face Clients of all levels and general idea
Professional presentation, attention to detail and flexibility within all work matters.
Offering Pre & Post Contract services - Final Accounts/BOQ's/measurements etc
Project Management/Employer Agent Services/ on-site travel & inspections.
Degree qualified (ideally in Quantity surveying or a RICS accredited at least)
