Location: Home based / National field sales position (Predominant focus is the Midlands and North)

* A privately owned and managed business committed to delivering quality, fit for purpose PPE and safety solutions for trade accounts across the UK.
* They have an extensive range of products available on a next day delivery service for their distribution partners.
* This is a brand-new position for the company as they continue their growth and theyre looking to recruit a strategic sales individual to maximise distribution sales.
The Role
* This is a hybrid position with the purpose to develop new partnerships with National / Multi-site distributors within the safety sector alongside the requirement to grow sales within the companys existing Key distribution and buying group accounts across the tools and builders Merchant channels.
* Reporting into the UK Head of PPE you shall be a focal point of the National Account and Buying group sales strategy.
* You shall undertake market research including customer and competitor analysis, price reviews to help you identify sales, new product opportunities and develop marketing plans and new promotional mechanics for your distribution targets.
* You shall help deliver and grow the core volume range to market through product listings with new and existing accounts and drive NPD sales to enhance early distribution.
* A large part of this position shall also require you to manage and attend exhibitions and events across the UK.
The Person
* You should be able to demonstrate a stable career that is still on an upward trajectory and have a minimum two-years National / Key Account sales experience.
* Ideally you will have previous experience selling PPE solutions through distribution, but we can also consider individuals who have sold to large end-users.
* You will be a very persuasive individual who has excellent people skills and possesses the ability to motivate others.
* In addition, you will need strong commercial acumen enabling you to analyse, stay on track and achieve set and agreed business goals with the distribution partners.
