Job summary
A market leading company based in the heart of Norwich is looking to appoint a Company Accountant to provide day-to-day insight to the business owner and supporting the business, the Company Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the x 1 finance professionals.Key duties:
* Sales Order processing and managing and maintaining the purchase and sales ledgers
* Preparing for and completing VAT returns
* Managing P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations
* Completing month-end timetable tasks and Management Accounts
* Preparing monthly payroll file, including overtime, bonus and absence monitoring, in liaison with our outsourced payroll provider
* Managing the company pension schemes
* Managing credit control and liaising with Sales Team regarding customers and credit applications
* Managing and maintaining expensesy
* Liaising with auditors and other appropriate contacts, such as banks and HMRC
* Undertaking finance related administration
* Training and developing an apprentice Purchase Ledger Clerk (studying AAT 4)
* Keeping up to date on financial regulations and legislation
You will have excellent communications skills and have a hands on approach and the willingness to work across the business
