The Hyde Group are established Industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a Continuous Improvement Manager, working across the Hyde Aero Products Division in Dukinfield.

About the opportunity
This exciting role would involve you leading and managing continuous improvement activity across the division whilst instilling a culture of accountability in our people. You will partner with our Business Unit Leaders to ensure that there is a pipeline of projects to deliver the required business benefit, communicating and celebrating key successes and quick wins with the wider team.
You will use your experience to lead problem-solving activities with the goal of improving quality and eliminating waste in all manufacturing areas. Analytical skills will be your key strength as you apply root cause analysis techniques to problems alongside verifying that corrective actions are implemented which are sustainable.
Naturally, you will take the lead in driving process improvements, tracking improvement projects and ensure that any actions are completed in a timely manner. Youll also hold continuous improvement events with the objective of developing employee skill and knowledge alongside delivering improvements to our Key Performance Indicators
Your accountabilities will include ensuring that improvements are captured through the documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and compiling monthly reports on the status of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
* A proven track record in a continuous improvement role within a manufacturing/production setting
* Experience of managing a team within a Continuous Improvement Role
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or above
* Extensive experience of using continuous improvement/lean techniques
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Ability to drive is preferable as this is a multi-site role
