Position Summary: We are seeking a Children's Support Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing care, support, and guidance to children and young people in our care. This role includes at least one sleep-in shift per week, which is essential for maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care, emotional support, and assistance to children and young people in daily activities.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of the children in your care.
* Foster a positive and nurturing environment for children and young people.
* Assist in the planning and implementation of various activities and programs.
* Keep accurate records and reports on the children's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with a team of professionals to ensure the best outcomes for the children.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role working with children and young people.
* A compassionate and patient nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of children.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.
