Job summary
Teaching Assistant - RaundsMonarch Education are an Education Recruitment Agency who specialise in placing Teachers and Teaching Assistants in their ideal roles. Monarch Education are currently working alongside Primary Schools in the Raunds area to find Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
The role is flexible and will either be a class based role or a 1:1 role, the candidate will establish a supportive, caring and secure relationship with the child, promoting respect, self-esteem and a positive, inclusive whole school ethos.
The candidate for this role will hold / be confident in the following:
Take responsibility for delivery of learning activities with small groups who would benefit from a different learning approach, as agreed.
Support children's use of basic language skills, developing vocabulary in all areas of the curriculum and encourage questioning.
Carry out learning activities, as designed through joint planning with the teacher.
Assist children in safe use of equipment with due regard to health and safety.
Support classroom routines and establish a caring ethos and safe environment for the children.

Your application will be subject to an enhanced DBS and two references, so it is essential that you have previous experience of working an Education Setting.
