We're currently hiring a Client Manager for an innovative Accountancy Practice based in Oldham, Manchester.This client is more than just a traditional accounting firm; they provide a comprehensive, rounded offering of financial services to support businesses as they grow towards their goals. Yes, they handle accounts and ensure that tax liabilities are settled on time, but they believe in doing so much more.
Position Overview:
As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing the overall client experience. You'll be tasked with planning, managing, and ensuring the effective delivery of client portfolios, leading a team, and contributing to strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities of Client Manager role:
Client Experience and Delivery:
Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication.
Supervise workflow to ensure deadlines are met, exceeding client expectations.
Handle commercial aspects of client management, including workload review.
Prepare draft invoices and foster transparent two-way communication with partners.
Work Planning on Client Portfolios:
Manage accounting and tax engagements within your client portfolio.
Participate in work planning meetings and coordinate resources as needed.
Maintain alignment with business objectives through regular communication with partners.
Team Management:
Facilitate team meetings, promote continuous learning, and provide coaching.
Conduct annual appraisals, recognising individual efforts and areas for growth.
Input into Leadership Team:
Contribute to strategy delivery and provide input into annual business plans.
Execute team objectives aligned with the firm's vision and ambition.
Must have Experience:
* Experienced working within an Accountancy practice at Senior to management level
* Experienced managing accounting and tax engagements including year-end accounts.
* Ideally qualified
