Job summary
Cityworx are recruiting on behalf of a client who are looking for an experienced Registered Locality Manager to cover a number of CQC registered supported living services across West Midlands area, providing support to those with learning disabilities and complex needs.As the Registered Manager, you will provide management and leadership to a team of Support Workers to ensure a purposeful, caring, therapeutic environment for the people who use our service, by the application of high professional standards of care and support. You will manage the team and resources to ensure that the right support is available at the right time and staff always have access to guidance, this includes good management of rotas and out of hours on call system.
Your duties will include:
* To provide vision and leadership to staff, ensuring that effective systems are in place for workload allocation and management, the application of the companys policies and procedures, including those relating to equality, supervision and appraisal and all aspects of their performance, personal development, health, and welfare.
* To be prepared to deal with emergencies and to take appropriate action in a timely manner including making a situation safe, reporting safeguarding allegations or incidents to the relevant authorities including the submission of CQC notifications.
* Ensure that all Health and Safety Regulations are complied with in accordance with our policies, procedures and practices and ensure any appropriate remedial action is taken.
* Ensure a robust governance system is in operation which ensures the service delivery is regularly audited and any actions identified are completed in a timely manner.
* To manage a designated budget ensuring that the company achieves value for money in all circumstances through the monitoring and control of expenditure and the early identification of any financial irregularities.
* Ensure the business is sustainable by ensuring there are no long-term void charges and that any vacancies are filled as soon as possible.
* Be aware of all commissioning pathways and attend events to promote the development and growth of the business.
For this role, we are looking for someone with a NVQ Diploma Level 5 Health and Social Care, proven management of supported living services and a driver with their own vehicle
