Job summary
Process Manager - Leicester - Up to £55,600 + Company Wide Benefits *Futures have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Process Manager on behalf of a leading, global, billion £ food manufacture who are well-known in the market for their great tasting products!
You will lead a team and manage the process development process across multiple sites to ensure the successful running of the new product / process development from concept approval through to launch. As well as focusing on continuous improvement of these products / processes. Exciting projects include; food waste, efficiency improvements and yield improvements.
You will be hands on with retailers interaction, with regular visits both on and off site.
Key Duties of a Process Manager Include:
* To ensure that products are screened at a concept level to assess whether products / processes can be effectively implemented into the business both from a technical and production viewpoint
* Manage the critical path through all aspects from product / process
* Manage relationship with external customers/retailers
* Ensure all technical data is in place to enable products to be launched / processes to be implemented satisfactorily to the required timescale, food safety, legality,quality and authenticity requirements
* To ensure that the process development team is managed effectively and training and development is in place where necessary
* To ensure that procedures are in place for the process development process
* To be proactive in developing the business going forward through innovation and creativity, initiating new processes, product improvements
* To advise and assist in dealing with general technical queries both internally and externally
* To be a driver of continuous improvement within the area of expertise to ensure projects which can deliver quality, delivery, cost, responsible business improvements are resourced and proactively completed
Key Skills and Experience of a Process Manager Include:
* Experience in process within food manufacturing
* Experience and confidence in communicating with retailers in a similar role
* Demonstrates clear communication skills both verbal and written at all levels
* Effective people management skills, ideally experience of management in a previous role
* Continually challenges / drives standards forward
* General technical knowledge
* HACCP level 3
