Job summary
Field Service Technician Position OverviewMy client is one of the leading manufacturers of lubrication technology and maintenance automation. They are part of a leading global supplier of advanced bearings and drive technology products.
To reinforce their team and be able to continue with the company's growth, they are looking for experienced Field Service Technicians based throughout England to join the business.
As a Field Service Technician, you will install completely independently (or together with fellow mechanics) their high-quality automatic grease lubrication and safety systems.
You will do this at the most diverse locations and with all kinds of machines throughout multiple industries.
You work flexibly and decentralized, so you do not necessarily have to site daily. This role would suit someone who is an experienced welder/ fabricator, plant fitter, agricultural engineer or machine engineer.
Responsibilities include:
Completion of product installations, repairs and service work in an organized work area at customer/assigned locations
Creation of installation documentation, drawings, parts lists and lubrication plans
Maintenance of installation tools and equipment, in addition to the provided service vehicle
Training and supporting customers as necessary while and after installation at the location
Completion of required paperwork accurately and punctually, such as time sheets and feedback from installationsField Service Technician Position Requirements
Completed a technical training, such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, machinery mechanic or corresponding, verifiable professional experience
Experience in the assembly area is desirable
Confident welder/ fabricator
Experience working in heavy industrial work
Knowledge of MS Office and experience with ERP systems is desirable
Flexible, resilient, sociable and customer oriented
Structured and independent way of working
High quality awareness
Willingness to travel and stay away occasionally if required
Full UK driving license
Field Service Technician Position Remuneration
Competitive salary of £35,000- £38,000 with compensation for overtime and paid door to door
