Are you looking for a flexible and rewarding role as a General Cover Teacher in Ashington? GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and versatile General Cover Teacher to join our team in Ashington, starting immediately.Key Responsibilities: As a General Cover Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
covering the lessons of absent teachers across different subjects and year groups. follow the lesson plans provided by the regular teachers ensure the learning objectives are met. maintain a positive and safe learning environment. able to adapt to different situations and challenges use your initiative and creativity to engage and motivate the students.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should have:
Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us)
A full checkable work history
A qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
Previous experience in teaching at a secondary level
A good knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational standards
A confident and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenWhy Join Us:
