Job summary
We now have exciting opportunity for a Technical Administrator to join one of our major client's team based in the Salford area.Title: Technical Admin
Location: Salford_M50
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £14.42ph PAYE
Available Shift Patterns: 8am to 5pm
Job Description:
Processing regional administration including, but not limited to, approved overtime, training courses, personal working equipment, uniforms, PPE & any engineer paperwork associated to reactive or planned maintenance work orders.
Production of orders as required, checking with regional management on receipt of goods, verifying invoices and ensuring elements of ordering/receiving are matched.
Maintain induction and training records for staff in liaison with regional management.
Ensure Shift Planner is updated on the portal real time for overtime, planned and unplanned absences.
Preparation and publication of management reports as and when required.
Ensure all PPM schedules are maintained and that Work Orders are signed off in Maximo in line with deadlines, identifying any corrective works as appropriate.
Checking compliance and ensuring escalation as necessary, including statutory inspections.
Provide a focal point between Engineering Managers, FM's, REM's, regional engineers and suppliers.
The raising of planned works as a consequence of statutory and routine maintenance.
Liaison with suppliers for the timely return of PPM completions and delivery of supporting statutory documents.
The escalation of H&S issues relating to statutory compliance.
Gathering returns and the on time submission to Finance of the overtime timesheet.
Ensuring Asset data is accurately kept up to date.
Updating of EDIS and other engineering records.
To monitor, action and escalate incidents as appropriate to maintain agreed service levels and to keep customers informed of status and progress of resolution.
To develop and maintain a good understanding of all IT systems used by the engineers and to support and train the engineers and other team members as required.
To identify and apply opportunities to develop and improve skills, seeking assistance to acquire new skills and maintaining record of own development.
Set up and lead regular performance meetings with the Facilities Managers and Workplace Co-ordinators to ensure compliance
Close liaison with Helpdesk
Willingness to attend off-site training and travel to other UK locations to improve experience and knowledge.
To take action to keep up to date with changes to the contract and share information with the engineers.
To handle and actively resolve any customer issues.

Required Skills:-
Demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Working knowledge of Maximo or similar CAFM system.
Experience in using Microsoft application package
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Good organisational skills, including ability to work within tight deadlines.
Able to question and elicit information in order to assist a speedy resolution to an issue.
Committed to the delivery of high level customer service in a resourceful and proactive manner.
Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills.
Able to extract, identify and capture important information accurately.
Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook knowledge.
