Your expertise in pediatric and neonatal care will contribute to enhancing the well-being of the youngest and most vulnerable patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for pediatric patients, from newborns to adolescents.
Manage and oversee the care of neonates in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric inpatient wards.
Develop and implement treatment plans that address a wide range of pediatric medical conditions and illnesses.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including paediatricians, nurses, and support staff.
Participate in pediatric clinics, case discussions, and departmental meetings.
Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Provide guidance and support to patients' families during their children's hospital stay.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Medical degree and full registration with the UK Medical Board.
Previous experience as a Paediatrics and Neonates Consultant with expertise in pediatric and neonatal care principles and clinical protocols.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with a patient-centered approach.
