Job summary
Social Housing provider based in Ashford (Kent) are seeking a Repairs and Compliance Officer to join their team.Main purpose: To support an effective and efficient service.
Contract length: 3-6 months temporary.
Hours:35 hours per week.
Working pattern: Hybrid - offering 3 days working from home
Responsibilities:
* Always put the safety of people first, ensuring required compliance checks and maintenance are always completed on time and recorded properly.
* Know the progress and status of all outstanding repairs.
* Log, diagnose and raise new repairs.
* Ensure contractors, suppliers, residents and clients are well-informed at all times.
* Ensure clients and residents get prompt and helpful responses to their queries.
* Property compliance records are reliably accurate and complete and documentation can always be found where it should be.
* Safety issues and potential compliance breaches are always escalated promptly.
* To provide a range of administrative functions to support the day-to-day management of FRAs, FRA Actions, Fire Servicing, Asbestos and Water Hygiene.
* Ensure all databases are populated as required and any missing data is highlighted and requested. Input all required service and compliance property data into database/systems.
* Manage and action all no access, it is critical that the no access process is followed through on all compliance areas.
* Act as a principle/key point of contact for team enquiries, taking telephone call and dealing with minor issues etc.
* Arrange and attend monthly/quarterly liaison meetings with the contractors and follow up the actions agreed in the meeting.
* Promote and improve value for money and instil a culture of customer excellence.
* Contribute to any relevant projects and tasks as directed by the Repairs and Compliance Officer.
