Duration: 6 months, extensions likely
Location: Hybrid / Warwick, once to twice per week in the office; occasional travel to Wokingham (fully compensated)
Salary: £400-£500 per day via Umbrella
As a PMO Analyst you will play a crucial role in a major IT procurement project and the establishment of a new IT Vendor Management function. Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders, across various projects and departments, you will be responsible for driving PMO activities to ensure project success.
Key Accountabilities:
Delivery of project support services to engage stakeholders, ensure approach and process efficiency, in order to deliver on time.
Work with the Project Manager to build and maintain relationships with team leadership, stakeholders and 3rd parties, ensuring customer requirements are met.
Drive standardisation of process, quality and cost transparency, where appropriate.
Take accountability of the cadence of project governance - to be defined
Ensure standard governance processes are executed in the project and workstreams
Ensure deliverables, artefacts and outputs are tracked, stored and executed against.
Provide hands-on administration support to leadership where required.
Knowledge, Experience and Technical Know How:
Proven work experience as a Project Management Officer, Admin or similar role
Strong coordination skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to details and technicalities
Excellent organizational and technical abilities
Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills
Focus on details, errorless delivery, logical reasoning
Searching for solutions not offenders
A strong team player, proven team leadership potential
Willing to step out of own comfort zone
Fast learner with ability to adapt to change quickly
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage
Knowledge of MS SharePoint is an advantage
Experience of matrix management of resources
