Join our Regional Scotland team as a Senior Procurement Manager and youll help make this happen!
This role is accountable for managing the Procurement team to conduct tenders and obtain quotations, analyse data, report on key metrics and ensure compliance to internal policies and procedures. The Senior Procurement Manager as part of the wider UKCS team will be expected to work with other members of the UKCS Procurement Leadership Team to ensure the delivery of the wider UKCS businesses Procurement Strategy as well as the Regional Scotland Senior Leadership Team to ensure Procurement activity is conducted in line with the businesss objectives, strategy and pipeline.
The successful candidate will be a point of contact for the entire Regional Scotland business. They will be responsible for fulfilling significant / complex material requisitions to point of order as well as leading supply chain and subcontract category management for the business. This includes ultimate accountability for the creation of Intelligence Reports and Supply Chain Strategies as well as support of pipeline projects and management of Procurement Schedules. The successful candidate will also be tasked with managing the team to ensure utilisation of group agreements by the business and the subcontract supply chain as well as working closely with the Regional Scotland Commercial Director to define and manage the governance of all procurement activity, inclusive of the procurement of subcontractors.
The successful candidate will also be required to support key preconstruction contracts, acting as strategic lead and from time to time presenting to and liaising with key customers. Identification and development of supply chain in line with significant pipeline projects in the North of Scotland and the energy sector will be key to the success of the successful candidate. The successful candidate will be expected to represent the Procurement team and Regional Scotland business at supply chain development and engagement events.
Regular travel will be required between our Inverness and Eurocentral offices.

What you'll be doing
As a Senior Procurement Manager, you will have the following accountabilities:
Main POC for the Regional Scotland business
Act as a senior leader within the Regional Scotland business
Provide cover for UKCS Procurement Director when required from time to time
Manage and deliver monthly procurement dashboards
Act as escalation point for both the team and business with regards to supply chain negotiations and issues
Responsible for support, coaching and progression of entire team
Leading the team to deliver the following;
Supply chain development and engagement in new markets
Fulfil requisitions on behalf of the business
Provide support, resolve queries and offer advice
Ensure internal spend compliance
Source suppliers and obtain quotations
Conduct tender processes
Commodity research and spend analysis
Supplier meetings and engagement
Creation of Supply Chain Strategies
Management of Procurement Schedules
Building and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders
Identify key trends or opportunities for cost reduction
Negotiate discounts and savings
Supplier performance management
Subcontract Supply Chain & Category Management
Ensure accurate reporting of savings and value add activities
Ensure adherence to procurement processes and procedures
