Job Title: Primary School Teaching Assistants

Location: South Sheffield

Contract Type: Fixed Term (January - July)

Number of Positions: 2 (1 for EYFS, 1 for Year 1)

Qualifications: TA Level 2 or Above Required

Position Overview:

We are seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team, starting in January and working on a fixed-term contract until July. One position will be focused on supporting EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), while the other will work with Year 1 students. The successful candidates will play a vital role in assisting our teachers, ensuring a positive learning experience for our young learners.

Qualifications and Requirements:

A Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
Previous experience working in the specified Key Stages (EYFS for one role and Year 1 for the other) is required.
Commitment to maintaining appropriate student-teacher ratios, especially in EYFS.
Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday.
Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children's educational development.
A caring and nurturing attitude, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching methods.Responsibilities:

Assist in delivering lessons and activities that support the development of young learners in the specified Key Stage.
Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as needed.
Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement effective learning strategies.
Monitor student progress and report observations to classroom teachers.
Support with administrative tasks, including preparing materials and resources.
Engage in regular professional development and training as needed.What We Offer:
