Your new role and responsibilities:
** Supporting children in small group interventions and on a 1:1 basis.
** Encourage pupils to stay motivated and on track during their lessons.
** You will be required to support in classes, assisting pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and dealing with behavioural issues.
** Creating a safe and positive learning environment where pupils feel valued and respected.
** Supporting the teacher in planning and delivering lessons that meet the individual needs and interests of pupils.
Experience/ Qualifications:
** Previous classroom experience in a similar role.
** A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or social care (desirable but not essential).
** TEAMTEACH trained (desirable but not essential).
** Calm, patient and resilient approach.
** The ability to facilitate a safe and positive learning environment and de-escalate any threatening or aggressive behaviour.
** Positive attitude.
** Team player.
