Job summary
Job Title: MET TechnicianLocation: Aberdeen, AB21 9NP
Salary: Up to £16.00 per hour (Equates to Up to £35,360) depending on experience and qualifications or if you are time served + between £750-£1,000 monthly bonus
Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week - No Weekends unless you want to do Saturday overtime.
Full-Time, Permanent Position
Our clients Accident Repair Centres provide the same high level of service for all types of car and vehicle body repairs and refinishing. Additionally, they offer a comprehensive suite of services to keep vehicles in great shape, from accident repairs, paintwork protection and diagnostic checks to air conditioning re-gassing, 4-wheel alignment, MOT preparation, alloy wheel refurbishment, and more. They are now looking for MET Technician at their site in Aberdeen.
The successful applicant will preferably be ATA qualified in the motor vehicle refinishing trade or a Time Serviced Technician with a minimum of 3 years experience and must be able to follow methods repairing customers vehicles to a high standard.
As an experienced MET, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out all necessary mechanical and body work on allocated jobs
* Dismantling vehicles ready for the panel shop
* Carrying out inspections, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
* Ordering replacement parts
* Re-assembling the vehicle with new parts as required to pre-accident condition
Role will suit someone who is or who has been an MET Technician in an Accident Repair / Bodyshop environment but we can also consider Level 3 Vehicle Technicians who are looking for a change in role.
