General Assembly OperativesAdecco have an exciting new opportunity to work as an Assembly Operative with an innovative, global company, near Sudbury specialising in healthcare diagnostics manufacturing.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6-12-month contracts available
Location: Sudbury, CO10
£11ph (PAYE) (overtime if available at x1.5 up to £16.50ph)
Multiple shifts available
* Late shift: 10.15-05.45 Sun - Thursday
* Afternoon Shift: Mon - Thurs 2.15 - 10.15. Fri 2.15 - 8.45
* Morning Shift: Mon - Fri 6:00 -14:00
Multiple vacancies - we are seeking several operatives currently.
A great chance for an operative with experience in a production environment to be a part of the team assisting with revolutionary leaps in the healthcare sector!
Qualities we look for;
* As much as previous manufacturing experience is advantageous, training will be provided so is not essential.
* We are looking for motivated individuals, who are target and quality driven.
* An ideal candidate will have worked in a production operative or assembly operative or shop floor position previously. o If you are unsure whether your previous working experience would be transferable to this role, please apply and we will be able to go through the role in more detail with you.
* Good eye for detail
* Health and Safety conscious
* Driven and motivated individual
* Ability to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships
* Be comfortable to support overtime (paid at an increased rate)
* Happy working in a fast-paced production environment.
* Be able to follow repeatable processes with a good eye for detail.

Responsibilities;
* Performing quickly revolving generic assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
* Assembles parts, semi-products, or components, according to plan.
* Uses limited number of specialised tools.
* May perform prescribed quality sight checks or checks on functionality.
