The Site Services and Compliance Engineer is a key member of the site engineering function.
Skills, Experience, and education required.
Previous experience as a Site Services Engineer
Skilled user of systems required by role, D365, CMMS, SMS, Shop floor data capture, iAuditor and Microsoft office tools, or equivalents
Food Safety Level 3
Competent in use of recognised Continuous Improvements tools & technique
Experience with Boilers, Compressors, Cooling Towers and Effluent Systems.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for managing the safety and compliance for all aspects of site utilities, such as boilers, compressors, cooling towers and effluent system.
Should develop specific plans and objectives for themselves to ensure that the site is safe and compliant.
Has responsibility to coordinate to manage and maintain the site statutory inspection regime and report and correct any anomalies to maintain legal compliance.
To maintain and complete and accurate database of all compliance testing.
Must effectively communicate to all relevant Stakeholders of any risks or opportunities.
Must work closely with Hygiene, Technical and Operations to ensure the site maintains legal compliance with utilities.
Must work closely with all aspects of the Engineering team and wider Stakeholders.
Should have a safety, environment and quality focus, and drive; shift optimisation, standardisation, and ensure GMP standards are implemented and maintained.
Is responsible for ensuring that equipment and systems are maintained to the correct standards for safe operation.
Responsible for managing contractors for site which includes but not limited to; pre-vetting potential contractor, deliver site induction to ensure contractors adhere to site health and safety policies and procedures.
Ensure work can be completed with minimal impact to production with an emphasis to health and safety regulations.
Must work closely with the Planning and Systems Engineer to ensure objectives are met effectively with minimum cost or loss of output.
Must work closely with EHS Team sharing information and data as required.
