CV-Library is one of the UK's largest online job sites, and we work with some of the biggest names in the recruitment and corporate world, using our database of over 18m CVs to help them find the right candidate for thousands of roles.We have an exciting, full-time opportunity for an Insights and Analytics Manager to join our dynamic Product-led, Agile organisation reporting directly to the Head of Data, you will manage a growing team of business intelligence experts and data analysts.
CV-Library is a data driven organisation, as an Insights and Analytics Manager, you will play a critical role in driving data-driven decision-making processes, uncovering valuable insights, and providing strategic recommendations to optimise our operations and enhance user experience. You will have an emerging interest in data science and be responsible for managing and analysing large datasets, developing, and rationalising existing reports and visualisations, working closely with various business functions to support business growth and efficiency.
Requirements
* Lead and manage a team of data analysts and business intelligence professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of job board data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve business performance and user experience.
* Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, data visualisations and rationalise existing reports to effectively communicate key metrics and insights to stakeholders.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish data collection processes to track and measure success.
* Lead market research initiatives, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
* Utilise statistical techniques and predictive modelling to understand job seeker behaviour, improve targeting, and personalise the experience.
* Work in lockstep with the Product Team to define Data requirements, ensure data quality.
* Work in collaboration with the Data Engineering Team to drive data integration efforts.
* Train and mentor, the Analytics, and Insights Team, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
Experience
* Must have digital analytics skills within a cloud environment. Familiarity with web analytics tool (e.g., Snowplow, Google Analytics), tag management, and A/B testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Amplitude, Optimizely or similar).
* Must have experience managing a building a high performing team.
* Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, AWS Quicksight or similar).
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related discipline).
* Proven experience in data analysis, preferably within the job board industry or a transferable field.
* Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation as well as experience in such programming languages such has Python.
* Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering actionable insights to drive business growth.
* Familiarity working in dynamic Product-led and Agile organisations, with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional environment.
Desirable
* Working knowledge of AWS cloud tools (e.g., Redshift) and data transformation tools (e.g., DBT) would be advantageous.
