Marc Daniels Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a household companies Financial Services department based in Bracknell. Responsibilities:
Responsible for information gathering, analysis and business requirements definition for the IT Systems.
Elicit requirements using appropriate methods such as interviews or workshops.
Documentation of key Change Management deliverables such as Project plans, Business Case, User stories, BPMN.
Responsible for managing and progressing changes assigned from elicitation through to implementation.
Participate in Change Management including raising Change Requests, liaising with external suppliers, assisting with test and release planning.
Identify and complete configuration Change Requests.
Be the liaison between business users, external suppliers and technical support teams.
Understand and document process flows within the business in order to identify potential efficiencies and suggest improvements, challenging business users where appropriate.
Assist in the creation and management of test plans which align with business requirements along with the Production Support & Test Manager.
Carry out functional testing and assist with UAT in conjunction with the business teams.
Defect management including analysis and raising of faults, prioritisation, liaison with external suppliers, test and release planning, and updating internal tool.
Report and raise risks and issues in a timely way.
Regular reporting on Change Requests using appropriate tools and repots such as Jira x-ray, Visio. Requirements:
A good understanding of Business analysis methodologies, tools and techniques
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
Ability to explain technical issues in a concise and non-technical manner to business users.
Self-motivated with good organisational and planning skills, can be relied upon to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and ensure objectives are achieved within agreed timescales.
Demonstratable experience in a business analyst role or ability to demonstrate business analyst skillset, ideally within the financial services or with a consultancy practice
