We are now recruiting for a Security Coordinator to support the business on personnel security vetting and physical security delivery in assisting colleagues, partners, and our wider supply chain. This exciting post which reports to the Personnel Security Lead is responsible to the business for supporting the design, delivery, implementation, and operational availability of risk-based controls in support of Human and Physical Security in a Nuclear centric organisation.

Key selection criteria for this role are:
Able to Interpret, Understand and Implement personnel security controls in response to UK National Legislation and Regulation
Able to Identify and Manage Sensitive Business Assets including Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Official-Sensitive and Commercial information, and physical access to assets.
Able to effectively communicate and engage with key stakeholders both internally and externally to the business.
Demonstrable experience with the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and National Security Vetting. An understanding of identifying and managing aftercare arrangements and how these align with business needs and regulatory expectations.
Experience in the delivery of physical security solutions in a nuclear environment (or similarly highly regulated industry), with demonstratable capability of the implementation of Physical Security Solution programmes.
Accountable for the support of Personnel Security designated Policy, Standards, Process, Plans and guidelines to support wider Security functions in line with applicable legislation, regulation, and industry standards.
Interface with personnel and external organisations for provision of Pre-employment checks, National Security Vetting and Ongoing Personnel Security Management requirements.
Support for the Security aspects of the Joiners, Movers, and Leavers (JML) process, including Corporate Identity Pass management across the business.
Accountable for the support of Physical Security designated Policy, Standards, Process, Plans and guidelines to support wider Security functions in line with applicable legislation, regulation, and industry standards.
Qualifications
Essential
Must have or be able to achieve National Security Vetting (NSV) clearance at Security Check (SC) level.
Desirable
Industry Standard Qualification in Personnel Security or equivalent experience.
Industry Standard Foundation Qualification in Site or Physical Security.
Essential Experience in
Personnel security management or HR equivalent experience.
Physical security development and/or deployment.
Environments aligned with Government legislation and Regulations around Personnel Security (BPSS).
Pay and Benefits
We anticipate paying a salary between £30,000 to £38,000 plus package. There is also a performance-related bonus of up to 7% and an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
