Job Description
The purpose of the role is to design the electronic hardware fundamental to the product range, putting the 'control' in our byline 'simply better control.'
As an Electronic Engineer, you will have the opportunity to impact the commercial success directly by designing electronic hardware for patented light source technology which is leading the way in the arenas of fluorescence microscopy and hyperspectral imaging.
About this role
As an Electronic Engineer, you will contribute to the success of the Engineering Department by:
* Being fully responsible for the delivery of electronic hardware.
* Overseeing the continued development of our design tool (Altium) and the associated component libraries.
* Assuming responsibility for maintaining and developing electronic supplier relationships.
* Taking a technical lead in the electrical aspects of product compliance.
* Providing engineering support for non-product-related department initiatives that require electronic design input.

* You eat, sleep and breathe electronic design.
* You have a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar.
* You have good experience with the ground-up development of electronic hardware.
* You have a sound knowledge of mixed-signal design principles.
