Looking to secure a part-time role in a highly reputable school in Irlam? Tradewind are looking to recruit a strong teacher for whole class and intervention-based lessons!

On behalf of our partner school, Tradewind are looking to recruit a Year 3 Teacher on a part-time basis for a long-term role commencing January 2024 until the end of the academic year. The role will be three days a week (Wednesday - Friday) and will include whole class teaching in Year 3 as well as intervention-based lessons in KS2 to accelerate progress. The school will pay a competitive salary of up to £200per day that reflects your suitability and experience. ECT's as well as more experienced teachers are welcome to apply!

About the School

This is a 'Good' rated school that prides itself on its high educational expectations where teachers foster a love of learning within a safe, inclusive environment with children being placed at the heart. About the Role

As the Year 3 and Intervention Teacher, you will be accountable for the learning and progress of approximately 30 children within a mixed ability class as well as groups of small children working below age related expectations. You will be required to plan targeted interventions to bridge learning gaps and address missed curriculum content to achieve positive academic progress.

To join us and be successful in this role:

You must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching in a KS2 setting (Year 3 desirable) with excellent references to support your previous experience
Provide a CV that covers the last 10 years employment history with no gaps
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Have a right to work in the UK
