Job summary
GEOGRAPHY TEACHER NEEDED ASAPAn Ofsted Good mainstream secondary school in the Slough area are looking for a Geography teacher to join their department. This role commences ASAP until the Easter holidays 2024.
This is a full-time role and will require applicants to teach Geography up to A Level (Key Stage 5). In addition, Candidates will be taking on full departmental responsibilities including planning and delivering lessons, as well as marking.
The school are looking for a passionate individual who will encourage students and create an engaging atmosphere to aid students educational attainment.
Teaching Personnel have an outstanding reputation for training and developing colleagues. Therefore, applications are welcome from ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
About the role
Have experience in the delivery of high-quality Geography lessons up to KS5
Hold QTS/ECT status or equivalent qualifications
Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
Have excellent communication and classroom management
Have or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
